Pops and bangs file service for matched ECU software.
Order a pop-and-bang file for a specific vehicle and software version. We modify the agreed overrun strategy. Send the original file, exhaust configuration and preferred activation method so we can assess the requested work.

PopBang, AC or Sport switchable
The price list distinguishes PopBang, PopBang AC and PopBang Switchable Sport. AC refers to switching through the air-conditioning button; the Sport variant uses the relevant manufacturer sound function. Implementation depends on the ECU software. An existing button or sport mode alone does not confirm support.

Pops and bangs file prices
PopBang: €80.00 net / 0.8 Credits. PopBang AC: €80.00 net / 0.8 Credits. PopBang Switchable Sport: €90.00 net / 0.9 Credits. These are option prices; any separately requested stage tuning is considered in addition.
Include the ECU identification, original software, engine and fuel. Describe exhaust changes, the catalytic converter and any OPF/GPF, along with the requested controls. Tell us about previous software modifications so we can establish the scope for this file.

Agree on use and understand the load
Modified overrun behaviour can increase thermal and mechanical loads on the engine, turbocharger, catalytic converter and exhaust. It is not a guarantee against damage or a general approval for OPF/GPF vehicles. Establish the permitted use and any approval requirements before ordering.
Pops and bangs concerns overrun behaviour. DSG Farts is listed as a separate option for shift sounds. Mapswitch selects between calibrated map sets. Name the function you actually need so the order covers the right work.
The listed options include PopBang AC and PopBang Switchable Sport. Availability is checked against the ECU, software version and vehicle configuration.
Is pops and bangs included in Stage 1 or Stage 2?+
Pops and bangs is a separate option. The price list gives the relevant credit values. Specify the complete scope if you want to combine it with Stage 1 or Stage 2.

Specify when the function should be active
A pops and bangs enquiry needs a description of the requested behaviour, not only a request for a louder result. State whether the function should be permanent within the agreed calibration or selectable through a supported control method. Describe the existing exhaust and any relevant hardware changes. Development can then assess the request against the actual ECU software and the vehicle configuration.
Use the listed option names when preparing the order, but do not treat a label as a universal compatibility statement. An AC-switched or Sport-switched request still needs a software-specific assessment. If the desired control method cannot be confirmed from the information available, send the original file and identification before making a customer commitment.
Keep the function separate from an engine power target
Pops and bangs is an additional software request rather than a performance figure. If it accompanies Stage 1 or Stage 2, identify both parts of the brief and confirm the selected options in the portal. If the engine configuration changes after the initial order, explain that change before assuming that an earlier function request remains applicable.
Similarly, distinguish this enquiry from DSG farts or a broader Mapswitch project. They describe different requested behaviours and may involve different development questions. A clear list of what the customer wants is more useful than grouping several terms together and leaving the intended switching logic undefined.
When discussing a revision, identify the installed file, the selected driving or switching mode and the operating condition in which the behaviour is observed. Include the agreed diagnostic or measurement information, together with any hardware change since the first brief. This allows development to assess a specific request rather than guessing from a sound recording alone.
Keep vehicle checks and the intended application part of the workshop discussion. The file-service enquiry establishes what can be considered for the supplied software; it does not assess the physical condition of the exhaust or other components from a model name. If the project is unclear, use the contact route before selecting additional functions.
