ECU tuning solutions for engines and transmissions
An ECU software solution must fit the original data and the intended vehicle use. Identify the actual control unit before selecting a calibration or additional option.

Choose by configuration
Stage 1, Stage 2 and ECO describe different goals. State the hardware, fuel and current condition so that the requested work can be assessed. A model name or an advertised power figure is not enough to match a file.
Where transmission calibration is part of the project, include TCU identification and describe the engine setup. Changing a software limit does not increase the mechanical capacity of the drivetrain.
Confirm availability, price and permitted application before placing the order. Supply suitable logs for technical review and keep the written version documented.
Define the software problem before choosing the product
ECU tuning solutions cover different development questions. A workshop may be assessing calibration on standard hardware, coordinating an engine with a transmission project or requesting a particular software function. These requests should not be bundled under a single power target. Describe the intended behaviour and the current configuration so the technical scope can be discussed before any file is selected.
It is also useful to separate a requested improvement from an existing fault. If the vehicle has a diagnostic concern, document it and decide how the workshop will investigate it. A software order should not be used as a substitute for establishing the condition of the vehicle or identifying the cause of an unexplained symptom.
For a stock-hardware project, identify the engine and original software rather than relying only on a generic vehicle description. For a hardware-based project, add the actual component specification and note any changes made since an earlier calibration. Development needs to assess the combination in front of the workshop, not an assumed parts package associated with a stage name.
Fuel also belongs in the brief, together with the operating conditions relevant to the request. If the customer intends to change fuel or hardware later, raise that as a separate configuration question. A file prepared for one agreed setup should not silently become a universal calibration for several different setups.
Treat engine, transmission and optional functions as connected work
When the enquiry includes TCU software, provide both engine and transmission identification. Explain whether the engine calibration is already fitted or is being developed as part of the same project. This allows the requested transmission behaviour to be discussed in context while keeping the ECU and TCU deliverables clearly identified.
Mapswitch is another distinct request. Define what the selectable variants should do and ask which switching method is feasible for the actual ECU and software. A supported family name is the start of that discussion, not a reason to assume that every function or control method is available for every variant.
Make validation specific to the development question
The useful measurements depend on what is being assessed. A question about a reproducible operating condition needs a record of that condition, the active file and the relevant requested and actual values. A question about a different hardware setup may require the specification to be corrected before measurements are compared. Agree what evidence is needed instead of using a generic screenshot as proof of the entire calibration.
Keep the development record together as the project changes. If a new version is supplied, identify which version the workshop writes and what it observes afterwards. That gives the next technical discussion a defined starting point and makes the relationship between the requested solution and the delivered file easier to follow.
The service pages explain the different areas of work, while the current price list shows the listed credit services and options. Use both to prepare an enquiry, then confirm the actual scope against the original file. Where the request concerns development definitions rather than a finished calibration, choose the DAMOS and MapPack enquiry route instead.
